Choujin Sentai Jetman (1991)

Jetman
Ryuu Tendou / Red Hawk : He is originally a Sky Forcer codenamed "W6" and leader of the Jetman. Being the only official to become a Jetman, his policy is to be always professional and never let feelings affect himself in battle, which is the primary reason of why he and Gai fought in many episodes like Ken and Joe in Gatchaman.
Kaori Rokumeikan / White Swan : She is the only heiress of the Rokumeikan Enterprises empire. She is taken care of by her butler, Jiiya, since her parents live in New York. She joined the Jetman to escape the boredom of her heiress life. She is good at Kendo and best shot in Jetman, Kaori learned in battle and in the middle of a love triangle with Ryuu and Gai what a spoiled rich girl she was and what the really important things were.
Ako Hayasaka / Blue Swallow : A senior at Miharakita High School. A bright and cheery girl who wants to marry a rich man. She called Choukan Odagiri "Granny". She first thought of Jetman as a part time job paying \1500 (roughly $12.89) an hour, but her first battle awakened her sense of justice and made her realize that she must fight as a warrior (for free, no questions asked).
Raita Ooishi / Yellow Owl : A nature lover who enjoys vegetables and hates Vyram for their destruction of nature. He is good at cooking. He looks after Kaori and has feelings for her. The only member who wears eyeglasses and only out-of-shape member in Jetman.
Gai Yuuki / Black Condor : A loner who hates being ordered around. He loves fighting but is really a nice guy. Initially clashed with Ryuu but eventually became friends. His interests include motorcycle, saxophone, gambling and womanizing. He loves Kaori, and often tries to flirt with her, without results, which ends up on him suffering from the frustration of his unanswered feelings.


Dimensional War Party Vyram (Enamy)
The Dimensional War Party Vyram conquered many worlds in the Back Dimension, now moving on to Front Dimension, ours. They despise humans and see them as stupid and worthless. Their base of operations was the Vylock, a brain-shaped castle capable of traversing dimensions. After their leader got lost in the Back Dimension, its four leading members compete to defeat Jetmen with the prize being full-leadership.

Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman (1990)

Fiveman
Gaku Hoshikawa / Five Red : He is the eldest and leader of the team. A Science teacher skilled in kendo. He was 7 at the time of the Zone's attack on Sidon. Calm and responsible, he had the task of raising his four siblings along with Arthur G6, making him not just a big brother but also a leader and a parental figure.
Ken Hoshikawa / Five Blue : The second born. A Physical education teacher skilled in judo. The subleader of Fiveman. He is extremely passionate in everything he does, relies more in the body combat than in weapons. Even taught one of his students the meaning of courage by defeating a foe without transforming.
Fumiya Hoshikawa / Five Black : The fourth born and twin brother of Remi. A Japanese teacher skilled in karate. He has a wide range knowledge of various languages, even alien ones. Despite this, he tends to be childish and reckless. He and Remi were only 1 year old during the attack on Sidon, therefore they continuously suffer for not remembering their parent's faces.
Kazumi Hoshikawa / Five Pink : The third born. A Math teacher skilled in fencing. Calm and intelligent, she can analyze and calculate with her "computer like" brain. She was 3 years old at the time of the attack on Sidon and remembers nothing but fear which she had to overcome to do battle with Zone as an adult. Protective and caring, she is a maternal figure to her younger siblings.
Remi Hoshikawa / Five Yellow : The twin of Fumiya. A music teacher skilled in kung fu. Disastrous at housekeeping and cleaning, tasks she leaves to Kazumi or Arthur. She has excellent rhythm and musical sense, she is also a rhythmic gymnast and dancer, which she applies to her fighting. She teaches kids kung-fu in her spare time. In episode 4, she got drunk when water was turned into alcohol.


Silver Imperial Army Zone (Enamy)
The Silver Imperial Army Zone is an alien army plotting to rule the entire Milky Way, it flies across universe attacking worlds with its Galactic Warriors. Earth will be its 1,000th destroyed planet, at which point Meadow will gain eternal life. They operate from their ship Vulgyre and can send smaller battle ships called Vulgols. They use the Galactic currency Dolyen which is said to be equal to 100 earth yens.

Kousoku Sentai Turboranger (1989)

TurboRanger
Riki Honoo / Red Turbo : Brave high school baseball team captain. Ace pitcher, his technique is the "Demonball of Fire/Honoo" and dreams of becoming a professional. He has a high sense of justice and confidence. He is the kind of person who is not in good graces with his teacher due to his low grades which is seen earlier. He shows his confidence in matters like when he defeats Zimba when challenged for the final duel. He also kills Lehda in the middle of the battle with the Super Violent Demon Beast.
Daichi Yamagata / Black Turbo : A patient track star who is also a good student giving him the fame of "Running Brain" which is in contrast to Riki. He shows his team concern and is self-sacrificing even when he placed himself at risk to be able to have the Turbo Rugger completed. A reliable subleader who will always be for support of his teammates.
Youhei Hama / Blue Turbo : A swimmer and high jumper. He is very good at aquatic battle. He is jocular and chases girls. He once befriended a Violent Demon named Bell, whose people were oppressed by the evil Jarmin and caught inside a series of bells.
Shunsuke Hino / Yellow Turbo : He is a gymnast and class clown. He was in love with a girl he only knew as "Sayo-chan" when younger, never realizing it was actually Sayoko Tsukikage/Kirika. He has a younger brother named Shunji who was killed in a hit and run, therefore he befriends a Violent Demon Beast who had a falling out with his brother.
Haruna Morikawa / Pink Turbo : A student body president and brightest student in the school. She is popular, everyone looks up to her. Gifted with acting skills, she was able to fool both Violent Demons and the other Turboranger to get the medicine to save Yohei's life.


Hundred Violent Demon Tribes (Enamy)
The Hundred Violent Demon Tribes are worshipers of violence and magic. They lost to human-Faery coalition 20,000 years ago. They are now free due to pollution having weakened the Faery magic that sealed them, with the Violent Demon Castle as their operations base. They intend to conquer Earth and eliminate humanity. In the finale, the Violent Demom Castle is destroyed by the Super Turbo Builder.

Choujuu Sentai Liveman (1988)

Liveman
Yuusuke Amamiya / Red Falcon : A poor student at Academia, but a strong leader and quick thinking under pressure. He is brave and a hardworker. Initially starts as hot-headed and sarcastic, but grows into the role of dependable leader as the series progresses. He likes rock music and working out. He was once in love with Rui Senda, but she did not love him. He was good friends with Kenji during their first year or so at Academia until things went sour between them once Kenji started down a dark path.
Jou Oohara / Yellow Lion : He is at the bottom of the class at Academia. He is a sportsman and skateboarder. He is short tempered and ready to dive into danger, Jou has the strength to back up his actions. He was once a good friend with Gou and heartbroken when their friendship dissolved once the weak-willed Gou fell into a bad crowd.
Megumi Misaki / Blue Dolphin : A top class student at Academia who got involved with Yuusuke and Jou for some reason and did powered suit research with them and the late Takuji Yano and Mari Aikawa. She is good at swimming and bicycling. She was taught archery by her father. She often criticizes Yuusuke's strategies. A caring figure, feeling even for her enemies. She is very skilled and has fired an arrow from the Dolphin Arrow while riding the Moto Dolphin.
Tetsuya Yano / Black Bison : The younger brother of Takuji and elder brother of Takeshi. He is good at boxing. He nearly destroyed the Gran Tortoise after being taken over by Volt. He is generally a good-hearted person, but has a temper and hatred, mostly fueled by his desire for revenge on Kempu for the murder of his brother.
Junichi Aikawa / Green Sai (Green Rhino) : The younger brother of Mari and a rugby player. He calls Tetsuya "Tetsu-chan", looking up to him as an older brother. The youngest member of the team, temporarily leaving high school in order to fight Volt. He was once impregnated and "gave birth" to a monster.




Armed Brain Army Volt (Enamy)
Believing most of humanity to be inferior, Armed Brain Army Volt intends to create a new world ruled only by superior beings. Life has no value to them; only brains do. Great Professor Bias, the leader of Volt, believes in no one but himself and controls his trio of officers with the allure of evil science. He looks down upon the Earth and its inhabitants with contempt aboard the orbiting space station Brain Base. His officers use a triangular shuttle to journey between Earth and Brain Base. Volt's goal is to create a new population of only geniuses, wiping out those with "inferior minds".

Hikari Sentai Maskman (1987)

Maskman
Takeru / Red Mask : The leader of the group. He is a specialist in karate and a Formula 1 driver. He was spotted by Sugata a year prior to the series' starting storyline while rescuing a woman and her child. When he was challenged by Sugata, he did not back down and Sugata offered him a spot on the Maskman team, anticipating the invasion of Tube.
Kenta / Black Mask : The second in command of the team. He specializes in kung fu. He is shy around women. He is lighthearted, but strong and dependable, making him an ideal second-in-command, which was proven when a Dogler Beast stole the aura of the other Maskman, leaving only Kenta to fight. He worked as a mechanic for the Sugata Racing Team and once worked for the Sun Racing Team.
Akira / Blue Mask : He is the youngest Maskman. He is a Chinese boxer and a broadsword expert. His father died while he was younger and he was the only child -- left his mother back home alone to move to Tokyo in order to perfect his martial arts ability (in reality to join the Maskman). Unknowingly enters a Tube-rigged tournament in order to win and to prove to his mother that he is succeeding in the purpose he left her for.
Haruka / Yellow Mask : She was raised in a family of ninjas. Forced by her ninja father to abandon all things "girly" to focus on her ninja training, therefore she appears tomboyish and is a fierce fighter. She is highly intelligent. She loves dancing and tutors a young girl who is unable to afford dance lessons.
Momoko / Pink Mask : She is an expert in Tai Chi Chuan. A young woman with a pure heart, she often teaches youths Tai Chi. Strong and dedicated, she once, by chance, met Ial and Igam's mother, who gave her the saintly flower known as Carollove which Momoko treasures. In one infamous episode, she involuntarily "de-henshined" from weakness after the team used the Shot Bomber to destroy a monster.


Underground Empire Tube (Enamy)
The Underground Empire Tube was once a peaceful underground empire, corrupted by usurper Zeba, who now intends to rule surface world.

Super Sentai Choushinsei Flashman / Flash King (1986)

Flashman
Jin / Red Flash : He learned science on Flash Star, main planet of the Flash solar system. He has great scientific mental powers and scientific knowledge including a wealth of knowledge dealing with machinery. Kidnapped from Earth at age 3, given a scar by an Alien Hunter in the process. Since he was the oldest of the five kidnapped, his memories about the kidnapping are the strongest, although still fuzzy. He is the strongest of the team and as eldest, takes an older brother-like role, making him a strong leader.
Dai / Green Flash : He gained great strength training on the rocky Green Star planet. He made friends with boxer Ryuu Wakakusa, who further trained him in his boxing abilities. He arms himself with brass knuckles. Although he has a cold exterior, he is actually a very warm and charming person. He has a weak spot for women, loves nature and ramen. He befriended the teenage Sumire, who had actually died some years back and had been contacting Dai through telepathy.
Bun / Blue Flash : He gained speed and agility on the deserts of the Blue Star planet. He learned survival skills on the harsh planet of Blue Star, such as surviving 30 days on one cup of water and how to climb walls. He is sarcastic. As the youngest member of the team, he yearns most to find his parents.
Sara / Yellow Flash : She developed a sharp mind on cold planet Yellow Star, often seen as cold and serious herself. She is able to analyze the attacks and strategies of the villains.
Lou / Pink Flash : She developed incredile jumping abilities on high gravity planet Pink Star. She possesses immense physical strength, which causes her to easily exhaust herself.


Flash King
Flashman's giant robot that is formed when the command "Combine! Flash Cross!" is given. Its main weapon is the Cosmo Sword and it destroys monsters with its finishing attack, the Super Cosmo Flash. Its other weapons are the King Shield, King Missiles, King Knuckles and the King Beam. It was temporarily destroyed in episode 15 when the monster Za Zukonda caught it in a suicidal attack. It returned in episode 20 to help the Titan Boy when it was already defeated by the monster Za Bluezass.


Tank Command : Red Flash's mecha. It is usually on the ground, but flies for the formation of the Flash King. It forms the body and head of the Flash King. It is stored in the front of the Star Condor. It is known as Tank Command 1 in the toy.
Jet Delta : Green Flash and Yellow Flash's fighter jet. It forms the right limbs of the Flash King. It is stored in the rear of the Star Condor, to the right of the Jet Seeker. It is known as Jet Delta 2 in the toy.
Jet Seeker : Blue Flash and Pink Flash's AWACS jet. It forms the left limbs of the Flash King. It is stored in the rear of the Star Condor, to the left of the Jet Delta. It is known as Jet Seeker 3 in the toy.

Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess (Enemy)
The Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess takes over planets, using their lifeforms as fodder for its experiments. Their goal is to transform Great Emperor Ra Deus into the strongest being in the universe.

Super Sentai Dengeki Sentai Changeman (1985)

Changeman
Hiryuu Tsurugi / Change Dragon : A former officer of the Earth Defense Force Air Force branch. Sharpshooter and star baseball pitcher in high-school, an accident resulting in his quick "Dragonball" pitching technique led him to quit and put his past behind him. A courageous and responsible leader, he often lets his emotions get the best of him, getting emotionally involved in cases.
Shou Hayate / Change Gryphon : A former ranger of the Earth Defense Force branch. A dandy womanizer, he actually has a soft side that he keeps mostly hidden behind his cool exterior. Originally joined the army just to get attention from women, but is actually a strong and dependable soldier.
Yuuma Oozora / Change Pegasus : A former Earth Defense Force army officer. He is expert in the building and constructions of mechanisms and is able to design such classified weapons as the Bombball once used by Hiryuu. He loves food, even stopping in the middle of his army training for a quick bite. He is a smart-aleck and comedic. As the youngest male member of the team, often does not care for the nagging of superiors.
Sayaka Nagisa /Change Mermaid : A former Strategic Branch officer with the Earth Defense Force. A genius with the "brain of a computer," She is also an inventor. A stickler for manners and etiquette, her perfectionist attitude frequently clashes with Mai's rough and tomboyish nature. A loving and caring person in a motherly way, She, like Hiryuu, often becomes more emotionally attached to cases than she should, which is why the two most likely share a good rapport. She loves animals.
Mai Tsubasa / Change Phoenix : A former reconnaissance officer with the Earth Defense Force. Bright and tomboyish, she is a caring individual, but people are often put off by her tough appearance. A motorcyclist, she once took Helichanger 2 out for a joyride. Good friends with Sayaka, but Sayaka's prim and proper air often gets on Mai's nerves, as does her enforcing of the rules. She has a knack of knowing when people are telling the truth and hates cowardice.



Change Robo
The team's robot. Change Dragon yells "Earth Conversion Start!" to begin the mecha's conversion, and then "Fusion, Earth Conversion", to combine them. It is armed with the Blitzkrieg Sword with its finishing attacks like Super Thunderbolt, Pinwheel Cut, and Swallow Return. Its other weapons are the Change Shield, Change Robo Missile, and Change Vulcans.
Jet Changer I : Change Dragon's mecha, which forms Change Robo's head. It is stored in Shuttle Base's fuselage, with wings and rudders retracted.
Heli Changer II : A helicopter (first mecha of its kind in Sentai) piloted by Change Griffin and Change Mermaid. It forms Change Robo's torso and arms. It is stored in back of Shuttle Base, behind Jet Changer I. Mai once took it for a joyride.
Land Changer III : A cruiser piloted by Change Pegasus and Change Phoenix. It forms Change Robo's legs. It is stored in halves in back of Shuttle Base, with HeliChanger II between the two halves.

Great Star League Gozma (Enemy)
The Great Star League Gozma is an empire that devastates planets and uses the survivors as warriors trying to invade their planets.

Choudenshi Bioman / Bio Robo (1984)

Bioman

Shirou Gou / Red One :A leader of Bioman. He is the pilot of the first Japanese space shuttle. Because of the power of the Bio Particles, He is able to speak with animals.
Shingo Takasugi / Green Two : He used be a race car driver. He is the designated driver of the Bio Turbo. This is natural as he is the best driver on the team.
Ryuuta Nanbara / Blue Three : A water sportsman who is boyish and adventurous, he loves to explore and discover things new. His years of diving have made him very nimble and thus he is very skilled in stealth techniques.
Mika Koizumi / Yellow Four I : A photographer who dreams of following in her brother's footseps to photograph the wildlife in Africa. For someone who is hesitant to do battle, Mika is a powerful and skilled martial artist. She died by repeated Anti-Bio Particle blasts from the Bio Negator Mason used in episode 10, which she became a martyr to save the others.
Jun Yabuki / Yellow Four II : An Olympic archer. Jun has to sacrifice her membership in the Japanese Olympic Archery Team, yet her skills become valuable to the Biomen.
Hikaru Katsuragi / Pink Five : A carnival flutist. Sweet yet strong, and a mistress of disguise. An unusually strong spirit yet with a strong motherly instinct. Hikaru is descended from an upper-class noblewoman who was bombarded with the Bio Particles.


Bio Robo
Coming from the Bio Star 500 years ago, it is the Bio Robo that showers five youths with Bio-particles. In episode 1, it is the Bio Robo that also gathers our five protagonists together, literally picking them up like action figures. It is also semi-sentient, showing fear at the arrival of Silver. It is formed from the two Bio-Jets when the command "Fusion! Hyper Cross!" is given. It is armed with the Super-Maser sword and it destroys monsters with its finishing attacks like Concentration, Comet Cutter, Break Attack, Cross Cut, Great Attack, Chainsaw Cutter, Straight Flush, Reverse Cross Cut, Pinball Sting, Dashing Beam, Shadow Cutter, and Super Flash. Against later monsters it uses a powered up attack, Bio Particle Cut.
Bio Jet One : It is used by Red One and Pink Five. It is stored in front of Bio Jet Two. It forms the upper half of the Bio Robo. Upon execution of the Fusion Hyper Cross/Bio Integrate command, its rear boosters fold outwards to reveal an area where the Bio Jet 2 will dock and link. The boosters form the forearm and hands of the Bio Robo. The front portion folds to the back to reveal the torso and head of the Bio Robo.
Bio Jet Two : It is used by three other Biomen. It is stored behind Bio Jet One. It forms the lower half of the Bio Robo. Upon execution of the Fusion Hyper Cross/Bio Integrate command, the tail and wings of the Bio Jet 2 fold back, the lower portion extends and twists and its boosters shoot out to form the feet and legs.

Tailed-People Clan Evilution Empire (Enemy)
The Tailed-People Clan Jashinka Empire are evolved from a race of a reptiles. They arrived at Earth in ancient times, the lifeforms being carried along with a meteorite, crashing into the earth, and falling deep into its core. As time went on, the lifeforms evolved, becoming the civilized Tailed-People Clan. The Tailed-People are a civilization of advanced science (higher than human's), with the rank of their civilization being determined by the number of tails. Believing Earth to be theirs, for their civilization to rise, they begin invasion. Originally planning to turn humans into their own kind, the experiment failed, and their strategy was changed to simply destroying mankind by reducing the number of human beings as the Tailed-People Clan was outnumbered. Being as the number of tails determines rank, the Emperor's dream is to obtain ten tails, who is said to provide one with eternal life and powers. Their rank and status is determined by the number of tails each member has. The more tails, the greater the status.

Super Sentai Kagaku Sentai Dynaman (1983)

Hokuto Dan / Dyna Red : A kendo master from Hokkaido. Responsible and headstrong, he lost his mother when young and sympathizes with children who also suffered the loss of a parent. The master of all martial arts, a rank holder in kendo, karate, judo, and boxing. He is also a champion motorcyclist, as an inventor, Dan's dream is to create an engine that does not cause pollution.
Ryuu Hoshikawa / Dyna Black : A descendant of Iga ninjas, skilled at the art of ninpou and invisibility and never allowing himself to miss a day of training. Comedic and cheerful, children take a liking to him. An astronomer, he dreams of contacting and befriending alien lifeforms.
Yousuke Shima / Dyna Blue : He is from Ishigaki Island. A swimmer and surfer who dreams of inventing artificial gills to allow people to breathe underwater and enjoy waterlife in all of its glory. Has extensive knowledge of sealife. Despises losing, always wanting to make up for failures he is responsible for. His exclusive vehicles are the Surf Jet and the Attack Board.
Kousaku Nangou / Dyna Yellow : A nature lover from Kyushu who dreams to improve plant and farm breeds, aiming to develop new foods and flowers. Although he plays the clown, deep down he is a tender and serious man.
Rei Tachibana / Dyna Pink : She dreams of inventing a machine in order to understand and communicate with animals. A skilled fencer, Rei dislikes fighting, but fights for the sake of protecting everyone's dream and the safety of the world.

Dyna Robo

The giant robot that is formed by the command "Fusion! Grand Slam". Its primary weapon is the Science Sword, which it destroys monsters with its finishing attack, the Lightning Gravity Fall. Its other weapons are the Dyna Knuckles, Dyna Shield, Dyna Boomerang and the Beat Hammer. Its other attacks are the Tornado Punch and the Dyna Flash. It is known as the Dynaman Robot in the parody.

Dyna Mach : Dyna Red's mecha. It is stored in the Dy Jupiter's top dome. It shoots arrowhead-shaped lasers. It forms the Dyna Robo's head. It is known as the Dyna Head in the parody.
Dyna Mobile : Dyna Black and Dyna Blue's mecha. It is stored in the Dy Jupiter's middle compartment, beneath the Dyna Mach, and uses the door for Dyna Garry's compartment as a ramp. It forms the Dyna Robo's body.
Dyna Garry : Goggle Yellow's mecha. It has a rectangular cavity in the back. It forms the Goggle Robo's legs.

Daizyujin (Super Sentai) vs Megazord (Power Rangers)

Sticker's design is different between Daizyujin (Sentai) and Megazord (Power Ranger). Megazord is arrenged to pick the symbol of flash of lightning.
The materical of the latest sword (Power Rangers) is changed from hard plastic to soft one for safety issue.
